Chardonnay for the whites

This grape variety, known throughout the world, expresses all its richness and complexity in the Coteaux du Lyonnais area.

With a golden colour and of extraordinary delicacy, it gives a broad palette of aromas combining flowery notes such as acacia flower or hawthorn with lively citrus and exotic fruit notes.

 

L’Aligoté for the whites

A few parcels of Aligoté may also be added by some wine producers. L’Aligoté combines lively citrus notes with mineral tones. It lends the wine a refreshing crispness.

The vines are trained by Guyot pruning or using the Cordon de Royat method with a tying method that leaves a lot of foliage, useful for the maturing process.
